Dr. Lonnie Lovingier graduated from Loyola University in Chicago with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1972. After completing his studies there, he furthered his education at UCLA with his postdoctoral studies in Pediatric Dentistry from July 1972 thru June 1974.

He started his pediatric dental practice in 1974 in Mission Viejo, California. He has lived and practiced in the community since that date. He has been very active in his church, community, youth programs, and his professional organizations. Some of his professional affiliations include: The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the Orange County Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Lovingier is a Past-President of the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and is currently serving as Editor for the organization.
